Thirasia Island is a small volcanic island close to Santorini but much more traditional. Thirasia is actually a miniature of how Santorini used to be. The pace of life is very different and nothing reminds you of our modern lifestyle. Nobody uses cars in Thirasia and there only 200 local inhabitants that use small boats for their supplies from Oia. There you will have the opportunity to clear your mind walking among the narrow alleys admiring the Caldera view. The capital of the island is Manolas village. It has a few traditional taverns where you can taste homemade local recipes. The view of Santorini is extraordinary from there.
