Santorini produces a large variety of volcanic wines well known all over the world. Once you visit the island you will have the opportunity to taste many different types of wine among the white and the seductive sweet red. However, choosing our specialized wine tour will give you the opportunity not only to taste some extraordinary wines but also dive into the wine history and learning about the ancient vineyards and the influence of the volcanic soils to the wine production.

Duration: 4 hours                      

    This wine tour is a great opportunity to get a better knowledge of the Santorinian wine tradition, combining taste with history.

   At first we will visit a vineyard at the volcanic soils, where your guide will explain everything about the dry basket vines, as the vines of Santorini have a completely different growing process than the usual.

  Then we go on to three different wineries where we usually choose the most traditional for our wine tours in order to show you the real aspects of wine production.

  You will taste 12 different varieties of wine from Santorini and Greece, such as Nykteri, Assyrtiko and Vinsanto accompanied by local snacks like cheese and cherry tomatoes. Of course your guide will be at your disposal at anytime to complete this magical journey.

  • Sunset tour: 4:30 p.m approx. (From May to September)
  • Evening tour with Dinner: 4:00 approx. (April and October only)
