Santorini Boat Tour (Volcano, Hot Springs & Thirasia island- 6h)
If you wish to see Santorini's islets in a traditional way rather than in a luxurious one, then a boat tour is ideal for you. You will visit the volcano, Santorini's top attraction, the Hot Springs for a beneficial mud dip and the traditional Thirasia island to taste local recipes. Choose the itinerary that suits you the most, either a short glimpse of the Caldera or a full day of volcanic adventure.

Duration: 6 hours
Our boat tours begin daily at 11:00 in the morning or at 14:15 from the old port of Fira. After 15 minutes by boat, we approach the island of the Volcano where we dock for approximately 1 hour. The Volcano island is an uninhabited island in the middle of the Caldera with an active crater. Being there accompanied by your guide who will explain everything about the volcanic soil, you may reach the rim of the crater. However, if you are not that adventurous you can just admire a panoramic view of the whole Caldera and capture the moment with your camera.
Next, we go on to the island of Palea Kameni where the Hot Springs are located. You will have about 30 minutes to enjoy a healthy dip into the hot water (30-35 degrees). The water there is yellow due to it’s high sulphur concentration consisting also of more minerals and mud, a combination that is beneficial to one’s health.
Our last stop before departure is the island of Thirasia, a miniature of how Santorini used to be many years ago. Thirasia is a small traditional island, unspoiled by tourism with only 300 local inhabitants. You will have about 2 free hours there so it would be a great opportunity to taste the local food or walk down the narrow streets to Manolas village, the Capital of Thirasia. The view of Santorini from there will captivate you. After departing from our last destination our boat tour will end at the Old Port of Fira.
The Old port of Fira is not accessible by car, you will have to use the cable car (6€ one way) that is not included in the price, or you may take the steps (587 steps).
If you wish to walk at the rim of the volcano be sure to have sports shoes and water with you, especially during the summer months.
No meals or drinks are included.
No transfer from/to your hotel is included.
