Santorini produces a large variety of volcanic wines well known all over the world. Once you visit the island you will have the opportunity to taste many different types of wine among the white and the seductive sweet red. However, choosing our specialized wine tour will give you the opportunity not only to taste some extraordinary wines but also dive into the wine history and learning about the ancient vineyards and the influence of the volcanic soils to the wine production.

   If you love the traditional Greek food then this experience is ideal for you.

  We will visit two different wineries where you will taste a large variety of 8 different wine styles from Santorini and Greece, such as Nykteri,Assyrtiko and Vinsanto and you will learn everything about the volcanic wine history from your guide.

  After that we will move on to a cooking class at a restaurant or winery in order to help a local chef prepare three typical Santorinian dishes, such as Greek salad, tomato-fritters (vegetarian, traditional Santorini’s appetizer), a Main dish (signature Santorini or chicken fillet, vegetarian  upon special request) and of course a traditional dessert of the day (homemade). You will also have the opportunity to taste your creations for lunch.
