After your pick up we will begin our day from Pyrgos Kallisti (approx 30 minutes), the former capital of the island. Pyrgos is one of the most traditional villages of Santorini, where we will be able to admire the medieval architecture. Full of fortified walls, old traditional cave houses, hidden passages, maze like cobblestoned streets and of course the Venetian castle standing proudly on top, Pyrgos will captivate you!

  Our next stop is the highest point of the island, the Monastery of Prophet Elias (approx 15 minutes), located at the upper side of Pyrgos. The view from there is impressive, although it is not the view of the Caldera we have the opportunity to observe the rest of the island from the upper side, giving us a complete picture of the formation of the island (Santorini has the shape of a half moon).

    We continue our journey with Akrotiri, a place of great importance for the whole Aegean. At Akrotiri we will find an archeological site that had ties to Egypt and Syria (optional).

     Just a breath away from Akrotiri and the archeological site we will find the famous attraction of the island, the Red beach (approx 15 minutes). Its popularity is due to its colour, the beach is surrounded by breathtaking red cliffs and the sand is extremely dark. All of this paints a stunning scenery not to be missed.

    Our last stop will be Perissa and Perivolos the Black beach (approx 40 minutes). The Black beach is totally covered by jet black volcanic sand with no pebbles, unlike any other beaches of Santorini. This is where we will unwind, and have time for lunch or dinner(optional). The area offers the opportunity to taste the local food at a traditional beachfront tavern or just drink a cold beer at a beach bar enjoying the relaxing vibes.

After the end of the tour our driver will return you to your hotel, the cable car or any other place you wish.
