Vlychada Beach is one of the most quiet swimming spots in Santorini. It is a small iconic bay, surrounded by carved cliffs similar to a sculptor’s work but all the credits belong to nature, air, water and volcanic soil. The water is crystal-clear and similar to the other beaches of Santorini. It consists of black sand and pebbles. Vlychada is an organized beach, with umbrellas, sun beds and a small canteen contributing to your relaxing experience. Also, not far away from the beach you will find the small catamaran and yacht port where you may enjoy fresh fish accompanied by the traditional ”ouzo”. Of course, don’t skip a visit to the Tomato Industrial Museum a former tomato factory. Tomato is one of the most known local products of Santorini.
