Red Beach
Red Beach, is one of the most unique landscapes of the island, located on the Southern corner of Santorini, at Akrotiri village. This place is without doubt worth a visit, considering its unique landscape, where red is the dominant colour. Red Beach is covered by black and red pulverized volcanic rock. Most of the guests usually go there only to gaze and capture the magnificent view point with their camera. If you wish to swim there, please note that the beach is semi-organized with a few sun beds and umbrellas, so make sure to take water, food or any other necessary supplies as there are no beach bars. It is important to know that in order to reach the beach you will have to follow a rough path (10 minutes walking) among the steep red hills that surround it.
